Nature & OutdoorsSep 22, 2026A Journey to Azdahak — Armenia’s Volcanic Giant🏔️ Azdahak — A Journey to Armenia’s Volcanic Giant Azdahak is one of the most impressive mountains of Armenia, rising to 3,597 meters above sea level. Located in the Geghama Mountains, it offers dramatic landscapes, volcanic terrain, and a crater lake near the summit. The hike takes you through wide mountain valleys, rocky slopes, and quiet landscapes far from the noise of the city. As you get higher, the views become more spectacular, with the surrounding peaks and Lake Sevan appearing in the distance. Reaching the summit is not just about the altitude — it’s about the feeling of standing above the clouds and seeing Armenia from a completely different perspective. 📍 Azdahak, Armenia ⛰️ Elevation: 3,597 m 🥾 Difficulty: Moderate–Hard 🌋 Highlight: Summit crater lake & panoramic views Save Azdahak for your next Armenian adventure. 🇦🇲 Daniel Foster
