Aragats 4 Peaks in One Day: A Challenge to Remember ⛰️

One mountain. Four peaks. One unforgettable day.
Our challenge started at 5:00 AM in Yerevan, when a group of 11 hikers set off toward Mount Aragats — the highest mountain in Armenia, rising to 4,090 meters above sea level.
We drove toward the village of Atutan, where a vehicle took us up toward the Gegharot Waterfall, the starting point of our route. From there, the real adventure began.
Our goal was ambitious: to reach all four summits of Aragats in a single day.
🏔️ Eastern Summit — our first peak and the beginning of the long climb.
🏔️ Northern Summit — the highest of Aragats’ four main summits, reaching about 4,090 m.
🏔️ Western Summit — another challenging section of the route, with constantly changing landscapes and incredible mountain views.
🏔️ Southern Summit — the final summit of our challenge and a rewarding moment after hours of hiking.

Aragats is a unique mountain with a huge volcanic crater surrounded by four main summits: Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western. The landscape changes dramatically as you climb — from green slopes and volcanic rocks to high-altitude terrain with breathtaking views across Armenia.
After conquering the four peaks, we began our descent toward Lake Kari, where we arrived at around 9:00 PM. Our vehicle was waiting for us there, marking the end of a long and unforgettable day.
It was physically challenging, sometimes exhausting, but that’s exactly what made it so exciting. Four peaks, one day, 11 people, 15.5 km, and 2,244 m of elevation gain.
Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that challenge you to go a little further than you thought you could. ⛰️🇦🇲
